Stop Motion Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUxDypGeiyc&feature=youtube_gdata

So here we have the stop motion video. The group consisted of Braeden and I, and I feel we did strongly on it.
These were my original ideas. If you see in the video, it shifted slightly.

And here we have the story board. Because of the lack of time, we couldn't do the actual fruit salad part. But Braeden and I feel that it turned out quite well.

I really liked the simplicity of our video. If I could do another video, I would continue with my original idea of fruit salad. I didn't like that it wouldn't upload the first time.

Photography: Element of Line

I chose the piano keys because they do show the element of line, as well as some contrast.

Then we have a deck scene, some fencing and a fence. My deck has quite alot of spaced out pieces, so it seemed to work out quite well.

Spokes of the bike. Fantastic!

We have a pitchfork amongst some cinder blocks. Quite eery, but not at the same time.

This was my favourite one to take because it was unexpected. I had to act fast if I wanted to take this picture without getting splashed.

And then we have some playground scenes.

I enjoyed this assignment, even though I didn't really have too much time to do it because I was absent for a camping trip. Next time, I would take more pictures of scenery and try to think bigger. I didn't really like the limited amount of time I had for this project.

Photography: Texture

Here we have the bark of a tree. How marvelous!

These were both taken at Riverside park. I really enjoyed the leaf texture and the texture of the fence post.

Here we have the texture of a stone pot and the walk at the museum.

Ah, the beauty of shingles. Here they are found on the side of a building at the museum, and on the roof of one of the log cabins.

Here we have my skateboard griptape and the sole of my shoe. Alas, it was quite muddy when I took the shot of my shoe, but you can still see the texture beneath the dirt.

Then we have another tree branch and a bench. Nothing super special.

As with many of the other projects, I like being outside when the weather is nice. I wish I could have gotten more texture with the little things, but at times it's hard to think outside the box. That's what I would do next time I did this project. I didn't really enjoy trying to find texture which wasn't plainly obvious, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. It was still a fun project.
